My name is Darien Hardy, and I am a senior at UWF. I am pursuing a B.A. in communications with a minor in art. Right now, I am an intern at Ballinger Publishing, and I work at the UWF Writing Lab. When I graduate in Spring 2022, I hope to work toward becoming an entertainment and culture photojournalist. I have loved reading and listening to stories for as long as I can remember. I began writing stories in middle school and fell in love. Photography is a newer passion of mine, as I didn’t really find enjoyment in it until my junior year of high school. I’ve only developed a deeper connection with photography since starting school at UWF. It’s taken me a while to figure out what field of journalism I want to work in, but I dream of traveling and sharing stories about different cultures, as well as exploring regional and cultural activities and events all over the world. I would love to experience art, theater, music and much more across the globe.
