Avani Maharaj is a communication major with a focus in journalism and a minor in art. Avani was born in New York but has called Orlando, Florida home for the past eight years. Avani loves painting and drawing in her free time and is also an animal lover, with seven of her own pets. Her dream job would be to become an environmental journalist after she graduates.
