Upcoming Artist Talk Featuring Micah Mermilliod
The University of West Florida’s (UWF) Center for Fine and Performing Arts’ (CFPA) Art Department will host an Artist Lecture series this Spring, beginning Thursday, January 22, 2026. The first visiting artist of the series is Micah Mermilliod, who specializes in photography and printing making.

About the Artist
Micah Mermilliod is an artist located out of Mobile, AL, who also works as a curator for the Alabama Contemporary Art Center. Mermilliod is known for expressive works that incorporate collage in both photography and printmaking. His work focuses on a study of his surroundings through an anthropological lens.
In 2022, he earned his MFA in Creative Technologies and Practice at the University of South Alabama. Mermilliod’s photography has been exhibited by OHR-O’Keefe Museum of Art, The Mobile Arts Council Gallery, and the Troy University International Art Center. A digital gallery of his work can be viewed online.
