Submitted by the University of West Florida chapter of Beta Alpha Psi

UWF’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi was awarded Superior Chapter status by the Board of Directors of the International Chapter. There are only approximately 150 universities worldwide that have earned this distinction.

Beta Alpha Psi is the premier international student honorary and professional organization for university students majoring in accounting, finance, or information systems. The mission of Beta Alpha Psi is to support academic excellence by encouraging professional development, community service, and interaction between student members and the professional business community. Beta Alpha Psi was founded in 1919, and since then only 350 universities worldwide have met the requirements to qualify for a Beta Alpha Psi chapter.

Shown here are the current officers of Beta Alpha Psi: Vice President Dustin Krohn, President Andrew Stoker, Treasurer Kasey Simmons, Director of Community Service Andrew Spenner and Secretary Shelby Corbitt at the awards ceremony.
