Whether you’re craving fine wine, live music, or trick-or-treat fun, Fort Walton Beach and Destin have it all this week. A lineup of Fall events promises to bring the community together through food, art and entertainment.
In WaterColor, the Harvest and Wine Food Festival runs Oct. 16-19. The four-day event brings together chefs, winemakers and food enthusiasts for a series of tastings, brunches and culinary experiences. One of the festival’s signature events is its Grand Tasting, where wines from around the world will be paired with dishes from some of the Gulf Coast’s top restaurants.
The Fort Walton Beach Police Department will host Candy With a Cop from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17. This event gives kids the chance to meet local officers, collect candy, and enjoy an early Halloween celebration in a safe environment.
Also in Fort Walton Beach, at the Recreation Center, the 2025 Fall Arts and Crafts Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 18. The fair will feature local artists, handcrafts and seasonal decor.
Also on Oct. 18, the Concerts at The Landing series continues with a free performance by local artist Jenna McClelland from 6 to 8 p.m. The outdoor venue offers a relaxed waterfront setting.
Together, these events highlight the region’s strong sense of community, making this weekend the perfect time to experience the best of Fort Walton Beach and Destin.
