Creative Cooking

Executive Chef Travis Wilson maintained the food side of things in the ballpark, with new items throughout the 2025 season:
- Garlic Parmesan Grouper Sandwich
- Sausage smothered with onions and peppers
- Fiesta Chicken Quesadilla
The main hit of this year’s eateries was an item called “The Trust Fund,” which was $32, served in a batting helmet with snow crabs, grilled steak medallions, sauteed vegetables, and parmesan boxty topped with crème fraiche, only available 24 hours in advance. Other fan favorite meals like the Crabzilla Sandwich and the Heater Burger also stayed on the menu.

Swag and Sweepstakes

The weekly themes stayed throughout the year as they continued to attract the crowd.
You had themes such as: Doggone Tuesdays, 850 Wednesdays, Mullet Thursdays, Fireworks Saturdays, and Military Family Sundays.
Applaud the front office desk as they increased giveaway items, granting a brand-new car on one of the nights and a diamond on another. Additionally, they ran giveaways on social media, too, sending lucky fans to the Miami Marlins Fanfest.
Stadium Renovations

Major renovations happened before the season started. A fully artificial turf field was a big change because MLB forced it upon every team for safety and year-round use. Updated lockers, coaches’ offices, and other amenities for teams were another major part of the renovations. Something the fans enjoyed was the “Circle K Corner,” a grab-and-go stand to reduce wait times for concession items.
Broadened Coverage

This past year, fans were able to stream and watch all the Wahoos’ games, home and away. Thanks to the presence being developed properly in a way that allows others to enjoy. Local coverage aired on Blab TV, whereas online streaming services like Bally Live Sports and MILB.tv showcased these games as well. Erik Bremer, fourth season with the Blue Wahoos, covered the play-by-play with his right-hand man, Carter Bainbridge, during home games.
Long Story Short

The 2025 season for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos had a combination of community engagement and excitement on the field. Even though they didn’t make it to the playoffs, which is considered a bummer, they still provided an entertaining summer and set some boundaries for a favorable 2026 season.
