The 2025 Gulf Coast Balloon Festival in Foley, Ala., is taking flight May 1-3 this spring. Hosted at the vibrant OWA Parks and Resort, this year’s festival promises a weekend of dazzling sights and family fun.

Over 50 balloons and pilots from across the country will take flight, offering visitors a chance to witness stunning balloon glows at dusk and dawn, weather permitting. For those eager to get closer to the action, tethered balloon rides will be available, taking patrons up to 40 feet in the air. Tickets for this attraction are available on-site only.

Other attractions at the event include live music, a connected K9 frisbee dog show, free kids’ activities, arts and crafts vendors, and plenty of food options.
