The Campus Activity Board (CAB) held its second event of the Fall 2024 semester, Wave Rave, on August 29 from 8 to 10 p.m. on the Cannon Greens.
Students were invited to “slide into the semester” with a variety of fun inflatables and a glow-in-the-dark dance party.
Wave Rave attracted 420 students who were overjoyed to be dancing in the foam pit to the beats produced by Dj Charm.
The activities for students to enjoy included a water obstacle course, a water slide, and a bouncy house with a slide. Guests also enjoyed the foam daddy machine as it snowed bubbles over the dance floor of Dj Charm.
While the guests made use of these festivities they were welcome to popcorn, snow cones, candy, glow sticks, and glow beach balls. All of which was courtesy of the event.
Jeff Bissainthe, the event director, said, “The event was fun, and I’m glad to see the vision come to life. Overall, I’m just really happy and proud, especially because of the turnout.”
A highlight of the night was the appearance of CAB’s mascot, C.C. The yellow taxi plush, welcomed in March, is CAB’s biggest fan and #1 supporter.
