- It never hurts to prepare with a disaster supply kit. Stock up on essential items such as non-perishable food items, bottled water, flashlights, batteries, a first aid kit, candles, medications/prescriptions, documents (ID, insurance papers, etc.), cash and portable chargers.
- Pack an “Emergency Go Bag”: Have a bag ready with clothes, toiletries, personal hygiene items and any other essentials you may need if you have to evacuate quickly in case of emergency.
