Dirty Dancing the Concert at the Saenger Theatre – Nov. 17
The classic 1980s film, Dirty Dancing, is coming to life on the Pensacola Saenger Theatre stage with Dirty Dancing the Concert. Guests will get to enjoy the nostalgic film on the theatre’s cinema screen, accompanied by a live band and singers performing arrangements from the film. After the film, the live musicians will perform some of the film’s most loved tracks during an encore party. Catch the show at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre, located at 118 South Palafox Street. Gallery Night “Decades” – Nov. 18
Gallery Night is a themed monthly event that celebrates community, arts, and culture. This month’s theme is “decades” in which attendees are encouraged to come decked out in fashion from their favorite decade. The downtown streets will be flooded with a variety of performers, activities, and over 60 vendors. This all-ages event will include a variety of dining options and live music to keep everyone in the family well-fed and entertained. Ice Flyers “Star Wars” Home Game – Nov. 19
This Saturday, the Pensacola Ice Flyers will be joining the dark side and taking to the ice to duel against the Roanoke Rail Yard Dogs. During this season, all Ice Flyers home games include a theme night aspect to get the crowd in the spirit. This game’s theme is “Star Wars Night,” in which fans are encouraged to wear their favorite Star Wars costumes and merchandise. In addition, there will be a post-game auction of special edition Star Wars themed jerseys worn by the team during the game. Santa Rosa Creek Band’s Creek Fest – Nov. 19-20
This weekend, the Santa Rosa Band of the Lower Muscogee is hosting Creek Fest, a Creek Indian culture experience. This weekend-long event will feature a variety of entertainment by nationally recognized Native American performers, traditional Creek food, a replica Creek village, Pow Wow-style drumming and dancing, tomahawk throwing, and more. There will also be vendors selling a variety of Native American-style goods including jewelry and flutes. Presented by Eglin Federal Credit Union, Creek Fest will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 19 and 20. The event is hosted on the Tribal Grounds at 4750 Willard Norris Road in Milton.
