Downtown Pensacola’s Series of Events This Fall

Starting in late-October and going into mid-November, O’Riley’s Irish Pub and Sir Richard’s Public House will be holding events to celebrate the Fall season. If you and/or your friends are looking for somewhere to have a drink and have fun, then keep reading.

O’Riley’s Irish Pub Halloween Contest

On Saturday, Oct. 29, O’Riley’s will hold its two annual Halloween Costume Contests at O’Riley’s Irish Pub in Downtown Pensacola and O’Riley’s Uptown Tavern.

The events will feature prizes varying in amount depending on the location. O’Riley’s Irish Pub will give out $1,000 in cash and prizes to the top three winners but has a $5 cover charge for the party. The Uptown Tavern will be giving out $500 in cash and prizes to the top three winners but has no cover charge.

Costumers must be at least 21 years or older to attend the Downtown party and at least 18 years or older to attend the Uptown party. Uptown attendees can participate in pumpkin bowling beginning at 9 p.m.

Sir Richard’s Art Show

On Thursday, Nov. 3, Sir Richard’s Public House will be hosting an art show as part of this year’s Foo Foo Fest and to celebrate their reopening as one of Pensacola’s four network pubs and bars.

All featured art will come from local artists who will describe their work during the opening reception. Some art will also be available for purchase and will be taken home at the end of the show.

The art show will run from 5 to 7 p.m. The entire event will be open to the public with no charge and no age restriction, so Foo Foo Fest attendees and Pensacola locals are all encouraged to visit.

O’Riley’s Bourbon, Bacon & Cigar Event

On Saturday, Nov. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m., O’Riley’s will be bringing back their Bourbon, Bacon & Cigar event as part of this year’s Foo Foo Fest.

Entrance fees are $25 for general admission and $50 for VIP; attendees must be 21 years or older. General participants will be served a flight of three bourbons and a beer, a serving of bacon and a cigar, while VIP participants will be served a flight of four premium bourbons, a serving of bacon and a premium cigar.

VIP bourbons include Eagle Rare Bourbon, Booker’s Small Batch Bourbon, Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourdon Whiskey and Kentucky Odyssey Whiskey. The beer to be included for general participants is Founders Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale.

O’Riley’s Winter Brewfest

From today until Nov. 8, O’Riley’s Irish Pub will be selling $20 tickets for their Winter Brewfest. After this date, tickets can still be purchased for $25 prior to the event and at the door. The Brewfest will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The list of beers include but aren’t limited to Nitro’s S’mores milk stout by Southern Tier, the Red Right Return amber ale by Oyster City and the Last Snow American Porter by Funky Buddha. Attendants are required to be 21 years or older, and the event will begin one hour after the end of the Bourbon, Bacon & Cigar event.

Founded in 2013, O’Riley’s Irish Pub, located at 321 S Palafox St., is part of a network of four pubs and bars in Pensacola, Florida. The other locations are O’Riley’s Uptown Tavern, Mugs & Jugs and Sir Richard’s Public House. More information can be found on orileyspub.com.
