Pensacola Healthcare Virtual Career Fair – Feb. 23

Those seeking careers in healthcare are encouraged to attend HealthcareX’s February virtual job fair, which takes place this Wednesday. Participants are asked to come ready to interview and, of course, prepared to work. During each event, more than 60-plus job offers are made by over 30 employers who are ready, willing, and eager to read your resumé and welcome you to their team!.

Vegan Social | Taste of India – Feb. 23

This Wednesday, Taste of India on Gregory Street will host another Vegan Buffet with new recipes that feature kid-friendly and gluten-free options. This is a one night-only event, and patrons are encouraged to make reservations ahead of the 5:30 p.m. start time. Both in and outdoor seating will be provided if the weather permits.

Pub Trivia Night at O’Riley’s – Feb. 23

Friday Night Wine & Food Tasting at Wine World – Feb. 25

Calling all wine connoisseurs! Wine World is inviting you to enjoy a special night of wine and gourmet food tastings.

Founded in 2000 by Chan Cox, Wine World now has three locations, with its first being in Destin. The establishment is now considered Northwest Florida’s “most successful and influential full-service retailer of fine wine, spirits and beer.” 

Admission for the event is just $10 and includes a viewing and tasting of the various assortment of wines as well as cheeses and other food items. Doors open at 5 p.m. every Friday before closing at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.

Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade – Feb. 26

Downtown Pensacola’s most popular parade is back! With over 6,000 participants, the Grand Mardi Gras parade entertains over 100,000 spectators yearly and reaches millions across all social media platforms. The event parade is expected to put on a marvelous show this year, with everything from marching bands to Scout organizations making an appearance. Several events including a Kids and Critters Parade (Feb. 19) will precede the event. Everyone from everywhere is encouraged to join in on the festivities!

The parade will start on Palafox and Garden Streets in historic Downtown Pensacola, with floats rolling from 2 p.m. to around 6 p.m. For everyone’s safety, spectators are asked to avoid alcohol and tobacco products during the event. 

Bingo and Brunch – Feb. 26

Did you know that every Saturday you can enjoy a night of free bingo at World of Beer? Neither did I. Come enjoy brunch and test your luck for a chance to win several cool prizes. The prizes change weekly and can range from a free pizza from Graffiti Pizza to BOGO drink and food cards. 

The event takes place at the South Palafox location and lasts from around 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Hope to see you there!
