UWF hosts symposium on activist’s rhetoric this week

This Friday, West Florida welcomes visiting scholar Dr. Christal Seahorn as she presents a guest lecture on the topic of activist’s rhetoric.

Dr. Seahorn, an associate professor of writing at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, will showcase her expertise on written and digital rhetoric.

The symposium will be fully interactive, and participants will have the chance to engage Dr. Seahorn on the discussion of activist rhetorical expression. 

This event is sponsored by the University of West Florida Department of English and is open to everybody, virtually or in-person, in Building 76A Room 101.

The symposium will run from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 8.
