Looking for something to do this week? Here is a detailed list of off-campus events happening in the local area.
The Harlem Globetrotters will be performing at the Pensacola Bay Center, located at 201 East Gregory Street on Thursday.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission prices may vary.
The Pensacola Ice Flyers will be playing Birmingham Bulls at the Pensacola Bay Center, located at 201 East Gregory Street on Friday at 7:35 p.m.
Admission prices may vary.
The Cookie Festival will take place Downtown, at 223 Palafox Place on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children.
The Choral Society of Pensacola presents Handel’s “Messiah” at Saenger Theatre, located at 118 South Palafox Place, Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Ticket prices can be purchased at the box office and range from $30 to $35 and $10 for students.
Holidays in the Park will take place Saturday at the Big Lagoon State Park, located at 12301 Gulf Beach Highway from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Park entrance fees and admission is free.
The Lighted Boat Parade and Fireworks will be held Saturday at 6:30 p.m. with a pre-show party for kids beginning at 4 p.m.
The show can be viewed from the Sabine Marina to the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk.
O’Riley’s Santa Pub Crawl will take place at O’Riley’s Irish Pub, located at 321 South Palafox Street on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Admission is $10 for each participant and donations for Shriners International or gifts for Toys for Tots will also be accepted.
All participants must be 21 years or older and wear a Santa costume, creative Santa costumes are encouraged.
Participants will also receive a t-shirt while supplies last, a 22 ounce stein and a passport for the raffle.
The Surging Santa Beach Parade and meet and greet with Santa will be held Sunday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The parade will begin at Avendia 10, towards Casino Beach and end at the Gulfside Pavilion.
