As college students, the only thing more valuable than our time is our money. Making a budget is essential. But it shouldn’t force you into a Netflix/Ramen Noodle marathon every weekend. There are plenty of fun and exciting things to do off campus that you can easily squeeze into your co-ed calculator. Here are 15 things to do around the Emerald Coast this week that won’t break the bank.

Why: April 22 is National Earth Day and if you’re looking of a way to celebrate our wonderful planet, Big Lagoon State Park has you covered.

“The event at Big Lagoon State Park will be rain or shine,” Sara Janosik, Marketing Manager at Keep Pensacola Beautiful, said. “Keep Pensacola Beautiful will be on site with an information booth and free giveaways. We also have a plastic bag swap at everman the same day from 9-12 p.m., people can bring bundles of 25 plastic bags to be recycled in exchange for a reusable shopping bag.”

5) Pensacola Blue Wahoos Baseball from Admiral Mason Field

6) Legal Graffiti

Why: Get ready for a night of family fun including spray paint, sidewalk chulk, corn hole, hula hoops, and bean bag games. Zarzaur Law is hosting a legal graffiti night to benefit Autism Pensacola, Inc and you can enjoy the fun for small donation. While donations are not mandatory, a $10 dollar donation will certainly go a long way for the cause. The first 200 people to donate $10 will even get an Autism Pensacola glow-in-the-dark wristband

7) Postmodern Jukebox
When: 7 p.m, April 22
Where: Vinyl Music Hall, 2 South Palafox St., Pensacola

Why: Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox has been blowing up the internet for years now and this is your chance to catch the show live. 8)  Sunday Pool Tournament
