Hello Argos! We hope that you are staying motivated and on top of your studies. First exams are right around the corner and it is imperative to consistently stay ahead of the curve. We’ve got several events taking place this upcoming week, and are excited to share them with you.
UWF Dining Services will be hosting focus group sessions on Wednesday, February 15 and Thursday, February 16 at various times throughout the day. These focus groups are essential because with feedback from the students comes a more direct and helpful way for Dining Services to enhance the student dining experience. Below are the dates and times for each focus group, keep in mind that these times are for resident students, with commuter students being given a separate time frame on the same days. There is a link directly below the dates that allows students to see all the dates and times available.
Wednesday, February 15th
11:15am-12:15pm, UC 265
Don’t forget that Student Government Association elections are approaching; filing for anyone interested in an executive or senator position begins on Feb. 27th. We strongly suggest that you put together a viable campaign plan with a genuine ambition to better our organization and University as a whole, as this is a great opportunity to gain some experience in politics and community affairs. Election voting will commence on April 3rd.
Distinguished Teaching Award/Distinguished Staff Award Nominations are underway, nominate the professor that you feel exemplifies the Argonaut spirit, and shows true dedication to the profession and students. Here is the link! https://orgsync.com/1199
Tabling for Distinguished Teaching Awards will begin on February 20th, and will continue for that entire week so please find some time to visit the table and show appreciation for your favorite Professor.
Let’s stay motivated Argos, and strive for greatness!
